With rising temperatures many pupils were hoping they would be allowed to relax uniform rules at their schools. Some parents were contacted around the country as schools told youngsters they could take their blazers off.
But one North Yorkshire school has gone even further to try to help pupils in the sweltering heat. Rather than just removing their blazer they are being told sportswear will be accepted.
And they were also urged to make sure they were sun-safe. In an email sent to parents on Sunday it advised them to make sure they had sun screen and a drink, reports Teesside Live.
