Punjabi singer comes under lens of Hindu organizations in Himachal Pradesh

CHAMBA: Protesting against the participation of Punjabi singer Ranjit Bawa in the traditional Minjar Mela for his alleged anti-Hindu rants, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced to not allow Bawa to perform in the festival, unless he publicly apologize to the Hindu community.

State vice president, VHP, Himachal Pradesh (HP), Dr Keshav Verma said, "In past, Ranjit Bawa had hurt the Hindu religious sentiments by using objectionable words against them and "gau mutra" (cow urine) which is sacred to us and we can’t allow such a person to perform in Minjar festival."
