AMRITSAR: Hundreds of families living in Jhabal Road area of Amritsar are fuming against the "sudden" action of the Punjab Waqf Board (PWB) to evict them from the properties whose ownership right is claimed by it and decided to tooth and nail oppose any move to evict them where their multi-generations have grown up.
A team of PWB went to the colonies situated on Jhabal Road asking the residents to evict the properties which sent chill down the spine of the residents who held an emergency meeting to strategies their move.
