CHANDIGARH: After a whirlwind tour of the Delhi government-run health and school educational institutes as part of his two-day visit to the national capital, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann said Delhi’s health and school education models would soon be replicated here.
On the sidelines of his visit to Dr Ambedkar Institute of Excellence at Kalkaji on Monday, Mann, who was accompanied by AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, told mediapersons, “It is the next level of education with government schools offering such digital education that the private schools cannot even imagine. There is collaboration with big companies, and you find such schools in the US and Canada. Many students have switched from top private schools and investors see their CEOs in these students. Practical and theory is being taught simultaneously and it is mind blowing.”
