Punjab to end contractual hiring in govt departments as Cabinet gives nod to bring two bills

Chandigarh: The Punjab Cabinet on Saturday gave the nod to bring two bills, aimed at ending the practice of hiring employees through contractual and outsourcing systems in government departments.

A decision in this regard was taken in a Cabinet meeting held here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
