AMRITSAR: While refusing the accept the police theory of Amritpal Singh "absconding" from high police security, the Punjab Human Rights Organisations (PHRO) has demanded an investigation — by a retired judge of the high court — into his sudden arrival in Punjab from Dubai, issuances of armed licences to Waris Punjab De activists, stoic silence made by police over Amritpal’s Khalistan rhetorics and his sudden rise.
