Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be getting married on Thursday here at a private ceremony, said a party leader.
AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang confirmed that Mr. Mann would be getting married in a private ceremony on July 6 in Chandigarh. He said that Mr. Mann will tie the knot with Gurpreet Kaur.
As it is expected to be a subtle ceremony, only a limited number of people from the family and friend circle are likely to attend the event. AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to attend the ceremony.
This would be Mr. Mann’s second marriage. He and his first wife Ms. Inderpreet Kaur got divorced a few years ago. Mr. Mann has two children from his first marriage, who flew in from the U.S. to attend Mr. Mann’s oath-taking ceremony as the Chief Minister in March this year.
