AMRITSAR/ROPAR: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra campaigned for party candidates in Punjab on Tuesday and said like the BJP earlier propagated 'Gujarat model', AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal was publicising his 'Delhi model'. Riding a tractor with Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi in Ropar district, she also dubbed the BJP and AAP as "two sides of the same coin".
In the evening, she took out a roadshow in Amritsar, where Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu is contesting from Amritsar East. People who had gathered to welcome Priyanka were heard saying "this could be a game-changer tour for Sidhu" which would also rejuvenate his election campaign even as just four days are left until voting. Before Priyanka's arrival, Sidhu had tweeted: "Amritsar is upbeat and excited on the visit of our charismatic leader Priyanka Gandhi Ji, who comes to Amritsar at 5pm."
