BJP trying to topple AAP govt in Punjab, alleges finance minister Harpal Cheema

CHANDIGARH: The ruling AAP in Punjab on Tuesday accused the BJP of offering Rs 25 crore each to its 10 MLAs in an attempt to topple the Bhagwant Mann government in the state.

Speaking to media persons, Punjab finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema alleged that some “leaders and agents” of the BJP from Delhi and Punjab had approached around 10 AAP MLAs telephonically over the past seven days and offered Rs 25 crore to each to quit AAP and join the BJP.
