Kevin Campbell has taken his stance on Arsenal defender Ben White being left out of the latest England squad. The likes of Harry Maguire and Conor Coady have been selected by Gareth Southgate over White for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Italy and Germany.
The former Brighton centre-back has started every game so far this season and has been key to the Gunners' impressive start, which sees them top the Premier League table. White has started every game at right-back for Arsenal, but Maguire, who has started just two of Manchester United's six matches, has been preferred over him.
Former Gunners striker Campbell has joined Darren Bent in voicing his disbelief that White wasn't named in the 28-man squad.

Ex-Spurs striker Bent said: “How can Maguire be in the squad and Ben White not be? I need someone to tell me a reasonable argument. By trade, Ben White is a centre-half. Maguire’s got no form and he’s not playing.”
Meanwhile, Campbell told talkSPORT: "I think he has [shown enough to be in the England squad]. He’s played out of position for Arsenal this season and he’s been outstanding at right-back. You know what he can do at centre-back and right-back now.
"When you’re top of the league and you’re doing well and you don’t get in the England squad, then you’re going to be questioned.
"There are players there who aren’t playing for their clubs, who have got in because they’ve had tournament football under the manager.
"But if they’re not playing for their club and you know what they can do, why are you picking them Why not give the opportunity to somebody who you can have a look at, give them some game time."
