Pundits both agree on 'confident' Luis Sinisterra after Leeds United performance against Everton

Pundits Jermaine Beckford and Joleon Lescott both agree that Luis Sinisterra is a 'threat' after his equaliser against Everton at Elland Road in midweek

Sinisterra scored Leeds' only goal as Jesse Marsch's men came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 against Frank Lampard's Toffees following the 23-year-old's 20-yard strike.

The 23-year-old arrived in the summer from Feyenoord in the Eredivisie on a five-year deal for the fee of £21 million after scoring 12 league goals last season.

After the game, Beckford, who scored 85 goals in 152 games for the Whites, spoke about Sinisterra and how deadly he can be in front of goal on BT Sport last night.

"This is somebody that got 23 goals last season, and someone that got 14 assists last season, so he knows where the back of the net is, he knows how to create chances, but I am really pleased for him because he has had a difficult start to his Leeds United career with getting injured at the start of pre-season that stopped his progress but you can see the confidence he plays with every time he picks the ball up. He looked a threat and for his goal, he managed to catch Jordan Pickford out."

"It was a brave decision to make that change, it was interesting to see what talent he possesses," Lescott added. "You saw glimpses of it tonight having not had a consistent rhythm in pre-season but if he can produce more moments like that Jesse Marsch will be pleased."
