Chelsea are set to face Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this evening as they aim end a poor run of form against Pep Guardiola's side. The Blues have lost their last three matches against City in all competitions, their most recent defeat coming in the Carabao Cup third round back in November.
Todd Boehly is set to heavily invest in a number of new signings to reinforce Graham Potter's squad heading into the second half of the season. Chelsea spent close to £300million in the summer on eight new arrivals including former City star Raheem Sterling.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to training after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered back in November, with Ben Chilwell set to make a comeback from injury next week. Guardiola is set to be without Ruben Dias for the clash at Stamford Bridge, whilst Aymeric Laporte is a doubt for the match.

Chris Sutton - BBC Sport
Writing in his latest BBC Sport column, Chris Sutton revealed he is a fan of Potter but feels that City will be out for revenge after dropping points against Everton. Sutton said: "I like Graham Potter and I want him to do well at Stamford Bridge but if you were a Chelsea fan you would be a bit worried about what you had seen under him so far.
"His side were lucky to escape with a point against Forest on Sunday but the result isn't the problem, it's more the manner they got it. I am a Potter fan but I am not seeing any style or identity from his team at the moment, and they will need to put up much more of a fight against City.
"I think Manchester City will play with some anger and take out some of the frustration of their draw with Everton here. Chelsea will pose a threat on the break, but they could be overwhelmed at the other end."
Score prediction: Chelsea 0-3 Manchester City
Mark Lawrenson - Paddy Power
Speaking to Paddy Power, Mark Lawrenson agrees that City will be up for the fight after drawing against Everton as they aim to close the gap to Premier League leaders, Arsenal. Lawrenson added: "It doesn’t look like Graham Potter knows what his best team is, or even the best formation.
"He’s under pressure. City of course only drew with Everton, but they turn up for these types of games. They’ll be at it."
Score prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester City
