Newcastle United transfer target Ibrahim Sangare has had praise lauded his way once more, with one pundit in particular labelling the midfielder as 'extraordinary'. The 24-year-old Ivorian international has been the front of much speculation with Leicester City and Manchester United both said to be interested in the player.
Aad de Mos, who has managed both PSV and Ajax in the past believes the admiration comes as no surprise given his performances so far in Eredivisie, with the Magpies keen to bolster their options heading into the 22/23 campaign.
Linked with a whole host of names thus far, Sangare is said to be available at a relatively cheap price and is under contract at the Philips Stadium until June of 2025. Having already recruited ex-Villa loanee Matt Targett, the former Toulouse man's talents have seemingly not gone unnoticed either.

de Mos began by saying (via Sport Witness): “Ibrahim Sangare is better on one leg than Leicester’s midfield. He is extraordinary. This season, he has been the king of PSV. You only miss Sangare when he’s not playing."
“Sangare isn’t just right for Leicester. He can easily keep up at an even higher club. He can easily play at Tottenham and certainly at Arsenal. He’s better than Albert Lokonga. Sangare is a great player. I think £30m is a good price."
With clubs seemingly lining up in force to land the midfielder, it seems as if his future will be settled sooner rather than later, with the Dutch divisions providing a strong pool for talent in recent years.
“(It’s) a bargain. I think he is a good player who would be first on the board at all those teams. You need someone like that, who picks up a ball and is always in between things with the point of his shoe. And lately he’s also been getting dangerous towards the opponent’s goal.”
