Pundit hails Nottingham Forest star 'ridiculous strike' after QPR win

Sky Sports pundit Danny Gabbidon has hailed praise to on-loan Nottingham Forest star Djed Spence.

Forest came from behind against Queens Park Rangers to claim their second consecutive win in the Championship at the City Ground after a 3-1 win.

The visitors put themselves in front through Andre Gray before the Reds provided a dominant response in the second-half. Spence struck the equaliser shortly after the break to claim his second of the campaign - a remarkable goal to remember.

Ryan Yates and Brennan Johnson then struck to move the Reds closer to the promotion play-offs spot. Forest are now just a single point off top-six, currently occupied by QPR.

"This is a player right on the top of his game. It’s a ridiculous strike. Just look at that. David Marshall has absolutely no chance," Gabbidon said on Sky Sports.

The bright prospect's loan spell at the City Ground from Middlesbrough, will expire this summer, having already caught the eye of many European clubs as he continues to shine under Steve Cooper. It remains to be seen whether the Trentside will make a move for his signature.
