Pundit Danny Murphy claims England have three teams good enough to beat Wales and should win '10 out of 10 times'

Pundit Danny Murphy has claimed England have three different teams capable of beating Wales at the World Cup.

The former Liverpool and Spurs star didn't hold back on talkSPORT when assessing the upcoming Group B campaign in Qatar, which sees England, Wales, USA and Iran doing battle.

While Murphy was talking up England's huge strength in depth, his comments will help provide Rob Page's team with another bit of motivation as they head to their first World Cup in 64 years.

"The teams we are playing in the group, we should roll over nine out of 10, well 10 out of 10 times," explained Murphy, who himself played nine times for the Three Lions between 2001-03.

"Even the Welsh we should beat 10 out of 10 times. You know, from our pool of players, we should have three teams that can beat Wales."

Presenter Danny Kelly interjected: "Yes, those are those are the kind of words that get stuck on dressing room walls aren’t they?"

Wales lost 2-1 to England at Euro 2016, but went on to top Group B and go all the way to the semi-finals, where they lost 2-0 to Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.

They lock horn with Gareth Southgate's team again in the third and final group game on November 29 at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
