There are concerns about the Rams’ offensive line heading into Week 1 with Rob Havenstein injured and Alaric Jackson suspended, but there’s nothing to worry about with Puka Nacua. The star receiver suffered a knee injury a few weeks ago and has been rehabbing ever since, putting him on track to play in the opener.
Sean McVay shared an update on Thursday after practice, telling reporters that Nacua is back to being a full participant.
“He’ll be ready to roll,” McVay said, via team reporter Stu Jackson.
Nacua’s injury was never viewed as a serious one, and because the Rams had plenty of time before the start of the season, they could take it slow with their young receiver rather than rushing him back.
With a healthy receiving corps and Matthew Stafford ready to go, the Rams are in good shape as they prepare to face the Lions in Detroit next Sunday night.
Sean McVay says Puka Nacua is practicing fully.
“He’ll be ready to roll.”
