A pug's 'instant' bond with a manatee is being hailed as a real-life Disney movie - as footage shows the unlikely 'best pals' staring longingly at each other.
Adam McCahill's 10-year-old pooch Frank was sitting on a paddleboard on the Crystal River, Florida, when he locked eyes with a young manatee swam over as if to say 'hello' to him.
The 38-year-old owner says he felt an 'instant' connection between the pair - despite his pooch usually being 'oblivious' to other creatures below the surface.
