A further 4,266 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland — including 291 in Ayrshire.
Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland shows there are currently 2,148 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals.
There are currently 21 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
No new deaths from the virus have been recorded within the last 24 hours, meaning the nation's Covid death toll remains at 11,675.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Shetland Islands has the highest rate in the country – at 1,495.4 as of Sunday, April 10.
Na h-Eileanan Siar has the second-highest infection rate at 1,422.6 while East Ayrshire is third with 894.7.
In terms of Ayrshire's remaining two local authorities, South Ayrshire has a rate of 881 while North Ayrshire's sits at 779.9.
Of the new cases reported in Ayrshire, 99 were in East Ayrshire, 95 were in North Ayrshire and 90 in South Ayrshire.
