A further 7,676 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland with the disease claiming another 17 lives.
Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,042 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is down 42 from yesterday.
There are currently 27 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
The new fatalities recorded within the last 24 hours mean Scotland's death toll now stands at 10,407.
However, 12,946 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, January 30 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Meanwhile, there are 100 patients with Covid in Ayrshire hospitals – up eight from yesterday – while fewer than five people are being treated with the illness in the region's intensive care units.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Aberdeen City has the highest rate in the country – at 658.8 as of Thursday, February 3.
Midlothian has the second-highest infection rate at 614.1 while Dundee City is third with 575.9.
In terms of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 422.7; North Ayrshire's rate stands at 367.2 while South Ayrshire's is 344.2.
Of the 261 positive PCR cases reported in Ayrshire, 99 were in East Ayrshire with 92 in North Ayrshire and 70 in South Ayrshire.

A total of 4,418,804 people have received one dose of a Covid vaccine; 4,132,928 are double jabbed and 3,310,626 people have received a third dose/booster.
