Public Health Scotland announce 7,258 new Covid cases as hospital rates continue to fall

Public Health Scotland Scotland Covid-19 Ayrshire

A further 7,258 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland – with the disease sadly claiming another 16 lives.

Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,302 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is down 17 from yesterday.

There are currently 32 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
