Greene King is offering free drinks to punters who share a surname with any of the 50 members of the England or Wales football squads.
Lucky customers will be able to grab a free pint, bottle of Ice Breaker Pale Ale or alternative soft drink at more than 800 participating pubs.
To claim the freebie, pubgoers have to show their photo ID at the bar during a live group game involving either home nation.
The chain will be showing every England and Wales match of the tournament at sports pubs nationwide.

The opening ceremony for the 2022 World Cup will take place at 2pm (GMT) on Sunday at the 60,000-capacity Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.
The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on November 21, after two games had already been played, but it was brought forward along with the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador in order to preserve the tradition of the first game featuring the hosts.
Chris Conchie, head of marketing for Greene King sport, said: “Any international football tournament is a major event for fans, and since the success of the Lionesses earlier this year, all eyes are on the men’s teams this winter.
“This limited time offer is more than just a free drink, it’s a chance for us, as your home of pub sport, to provide the best environment for people to come and show their support right across the UK for our England and Wales stars as they pursue glory at the highest level of international football."
The opening fixture between Qatar and Ecuador (4pm GMT) will be televised on BBC One, while the match can also be streamed live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC iPlayer app.
The BBC’s coverage for the game begins at 3pm (GMT), although they are also expected to show the opening ceremony beforehand as part of the build-up to the fixture.
Specific details are yet to be released by FIFA or the Qatar Football Association, but as with previous editions of the tournament, a number of acts are expected to take to the stage.
On November 12, South Korean boy band BTS announced on their official Twitter account that one of their vocalists, Jungkook, would be performing at the opening ceremony.
In September, American rapper Lil Baby also tweeted that he will be performing at the World Cup, having released World Cup anthem 'The World is Yours to Take', while Canadian actress Nora Fatehi is expected to sing the official song of the tournament, Light The Sky.
