Some lucky pubgoers will be able to get a free pint during the World Cup if they have certain surnames. To celebrate the upcoming Qatar 2022 tournament, huge pub chain Greene King are handing out a free drink to anyone who shares a surname with a player in the England or Wales squads who have qualified for the competition.
As reported by MEN, if you're fortunate enough to have the same last name as one of Britain's footballing stars, you will be able to claim the freebie at any point during a live game when either England or Wales are playing. The lucky few will just have to just head to a participating Greene King pub and show them a driving license or passport.
England's first game is against Iran on Monday (November 21). The England and Wales squads are listed below, so see if you can get a free drink during a World Cup game they're playing in.
