Pub apologises for refusing to sell wine and spirits to Indigenous customers from Palm Island

The licensee of a north Queensland hotel has apologised to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents from Palm Island for refusing to sell them some types of alcohol.

The Forrest Beach Hotel had displayed a sign that denied Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from Palm Island the right to purchase spirits, wine, and some types of beer.
