Psychology says people who travel long distances every day for work aren't always making the best choice: What this behavior reveals?

Psychology says people who travel long distances every day for work aren't necessarily improving their lives when they choose a distant home or job for financial reasons. A longer commute can reduce the time available for sleep, exercise, family and social activities. It can also increase daily stress before the working day begins. Some people accept long travel because homes outside city centres cost less or because better-paying jobs are located in business districts. However, the daily cost of travelling can become a source of stress that affects life satisfaction over time.
