Psychic medium John Edward locks in second Newcastle show

Psychic medium John Edward has today announced a second show at Newcastle's Civic Theatre in October.

He'll be on stage on Tuesday, October 29, as well as Sunday, October 27. Tickets to both shows are on sale now.

There will be question and answer sessions and, we are told, "messages from loved ones on the other side and more".

Edward, also an author and lecturer, changed attitudes to the world of psychic phenomena with his down-to-earth approach and his "uncanny ability to predict future events and communicate with those who have crossed over to the Other Side".

He pioneered the psychic phenomena genre in 2000 with the television program Crossing Over with John Edward. It was the first television show syndicated worldwide devoted to psychic mediumship and ran for four seasons.

In 2006 he debuted another television show, John Edward Cross Country, which ran for three seasons.

He is the author of the New York Times best sellers One Last Time, Crossing Over: The Stories Behind the Stories, What if God Were the Sun, After Life: Answers from the Other Side, Practical Praying: Using the Rosary to Enhance Your Life, Final Beginnings, Infinite Quest and Fallen Masters.

In 2011 Edward launched a digital network to deliver real-time content internationally, culminating in the creation of the online community, Evolve. Members have exclusive access to his web series, Evolve with John Edward which features member readings, celebrity interviews and assorted metaphysical lifestyle content.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Edward reportedly exhibited psychic abilities from an early age. He started developing his own abilities after an encounter with psychic Lydia Clar, who Edward says "made him aware of his abilities and told him his life's work would be teaching people about it ... to bring comfort and hope to people by reuniting them with those who they loved and lost".

John Edward, Civic Theatre, Newcastle, October 27 and 29. Tickets are on sale now.
