Police have warned that those looking to sexually exploit children may use the Easter crowds on the North Coast as cover for their crimes.
Dedicated officers from the PSNI's Child Sexual Exploitation prevention team will be on the streets of the North Coast to help the public spot the warning signs.
Detective Chief Inspector Kerry Brennan from the PSNI's Public Protection Branch is heading up Operation Makesafe and revealed there are seven children deemed at risk in the Northern Trust area, which takes in Portstewart and Portrush.
