Paris Saint-Germain are set to complete the signing of Real Madrid and Spain star Marco Asensio this summer. The forward will leave the Spanish giants on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract later this month.
He will end his eight-year spell in Spain after deciding against renewing with Los Blancos. After links with Arsenal and Aston Villa, he now looks set to join Kylian Mbappe and Co. in Paris.
The move will see Asensio earn £8.5million-a-year, made up of a base salary and further bonuses, according to The Athletic. Asensio's imminent move all-but-ends Hakim Ziyech's hopes of joining the French giants.

The Chelsea star looked almost certain to secure a loan move to PSG on deadline day in January. Unfortunately, the move fell through because of documentation errors.
Ziyech is expected to leave the west Londoners in the summer as part of Todd Boehly and Mauricio Pochettino's overhaul of the playing squad at Stamford Bridge.
Despite links to PSG going quiet in recent weeks, any hopes of securing a move to the capital of France have now been extinguished. Asensio's imminent arrival means Christophe Galtier will have multiple options in wide positions.
For Ziyech, the priority will be either working his way in Pochettino's side for next season or seeking a new challenge.
