Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo will tonight play his first game of 2023 as he captains a Saudi All-Stars XI against Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain, in what could be the final time the two greats face off.
Ronaldo is yet to turn out for his new side since joining on January 1 due to his English FA ban, so leading out a team of the league’s best players - including two of Saudi Arabia’s World Cup stars - will be the first time fans have seen the five-time Ballon d’Or star in action in six weeks.

PSG have advertised that Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Sergio Ramos will be part of the squad, and could even start the friendly clash at the King Fahd Stadium. Should World Cup winner Messi play as expected, it would be his first meeting with long-time rival Ronaldo in over two years.
