PSG have announced the dismissal of head coach Mauricio Pochettino after 18 months at the club. The former Tottenham boss managed to win three trophies in that time, most recently adding the Ligue 1 title to his honours list.
However, that wasn’t enough to save his job, as the French club underwent a number of backroom changes. Former sporting director Leonardo left his role and in came Luis Campos to take up his position.
The Portuguese advisor has acted swiftly in the transfer market to add new players to the squad, while it seems Christophe Galtier is set to take the reins as manager. It also means further changes on the pitch are set to come.

One of which could revolve around Neymar. The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital, but reports recently suggested that a clause in his contract has triggered an extension until 2027.
But the changes in Paris could still see the forward leave, something which Chelsea can capitalise on. The Blues are one of a few sides that have been reportedly showing interest in Neymar should he leave PSG.
Compatriot Thiago Silva has also added his thoughts on the case, urging the forward to make the switch: “He has to go to Chelsea,” Silva told JC. “If it happens, it will be for the best. He needs no comments… So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition.”
It remains to be seen whether he would make the move, however, the changes at PSG may allow for that to be the case.
