PSG 'offer' Neymar to Man City amid Chelsea transfer interest with huge Pep Guardiola decision

Chelsea's summer transfer business has started to ramp up in the past week. A slow start was quickly swept away as Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly joined the west London outfit to help solve issues within the squad.

Thomas Tuchel looks unlikely to stop there though as football.london understands the Blues are planning bids for two defenders in the coming week. Sevilla's Jules Kounde and PSG's Presnel Kimpembe are the duo that the German coach is eyeing to add at centre-back this summer.

That would help solve the side's issues at the back, considering the loss of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. However, despite the addition of Sterling, further changes could come in the attack.

While a bid for Leeds winger Raphinha was accepted, the Brazilian opted for a switch to Barcelona instead, claiming it was a "dream move". Striker Romelu Lukaku left the club on loan for Inter Milan, while Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja are all linked with exits.

Should they all make the switch away from the club, further reinforcements may be necessary. One of those linked with a move is PSG's Neymar, as the Ligue 1 side are said to be looking to move him on.

However, according to GFFN the Brazilian has been offered to Manchester City in a potential transfer. While it could represent a blow to the Blues, the report adds that the Premier League champions have declined to open talks.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea could make their move for the forward, however the defensive ranks appear to be the current priority.
