PS5 DualSense Edge controller: key features, release date, and more

It’s good news for PlayStation 5 owners, Sony has offered a first look at the upcoming PS5 DualSense Edge controller. It is a premium edition of the existing standard DualSense controller which was originally released on June 11, 2021, and is set to boast some shiny new features.

The news was announced as part of Opening Night Live, at Gamescom 202. The DualSense Edge represents an evolution of the already great DualSense gamepad, with a focus on customisation and high-performance controls in order to give users that special “edge”.
