Sony has revealed the PS Plus Premium and Extra April 2023 games lineup and it includes nine titles from the Xbox-owned publisher Bethesda
Sony has officially announced which games will be joining the PS Plus April 2023 games lineup for users subscribed to the PS Plus Premium and Extra tiers, including nine PS4 titles from Bethesda (who were purchased by Microsoft in 2020). When the lineup launches next Tuesday, April 18, you'll be able to enjoy the entire Doom franchise on PS Plus Premium as the original Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 64 and Doom Eternal join the lineup (with 2016's Doom reboot already available on the service).
Bethesda is also giving us two of the modern Wolfenstein titles as Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, join Wolfenstein: The New Order which is already on the service. Rounding out the litany of Bethesda titles are The Evil Within and Dishonored: Definitive Edition with the latter only being available for PS Plus Premium subscribers.
Strangely, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which is already one of the PS Plus Essential April 2023 titles, is also joining PS Plus Premium and Extra lineup according to the post on the Playstation Blog.
PS Plus Premium and Extra April 2023 games
The PS Plus Extra tier subscription grants you access to all of the PlayStation Game Catalogue titles, while PS Plus Premium grants you access to everything included in the Extra tier, with the added bonus of the Classics Catalogue which includes a selection of titles from the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP libraries.
The titles included in the Extra tier this month are as follows:
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits – PS4, PS5
- Doom Eternal – PS4, PS5
- Riders Republic – PS4, PS5
- Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus – PS4
- Slay the Spire – PS4
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom – PS4, PS5
- The Evil Within – PS4
- Wolfenstein: The Old Blood – PS4
- Bassmaster Fishing – PS4, PS5
- Paradise Killer – PS4, PS5
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure – PS4, PS5
PS Plus Premium subscribers get access to all of the titles included above and the following four titles:
- Doom – PS4
- Doom 2 – PS4
- Doom 64 – PS4
- Doom 3 – PS4
- Dishonored: Definitive Edition – PS4
Games leaving PS Plus Premium and Extra in April 2023
Sony has also officially confirmed a few more games that are leaving PS Plus Premium and Extra tiers on May 15, 2023. These are as follows:
- Marvel's Spider-Man
- Resident Evil
- NBA 2K Playgrounds 2
Of course, you can still download and play the PS Plus March 2023 Premium and Extra games while you wait on this month's games which launch on Tuesday, April 18.
