Sony has officially announced the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for July 2023 and has included one of the best co-op games of the generation.
PS Plus Extra and Premium for July 2023 have been revealed, and the tiers are headlined by the couch co-op hit It Takes Two, which won Game of the Year awards from the likes of The Game Awards, and the D.I.C.E. Awards when it released in 2021. The game puts you in the shoes of two parents whose marriage is on the rocks, and while in the process of splitting up, they get shrunk into small dolls and have to go on some zany adventures to return to form. It Takes Two is a co-op only experience and takes the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids-esque concept and runs with it to create some truly inventive level and puzzle design.
PS Plus Premium members are in for an unusually good month as the long overdue arrival of Twisted Metal 1 and 2 makes up the majority of the Premium offering. The first two entries (alongside the PS2 title Twisted Metal Black which is also available on PS4) are hailed as the peak of the franchise and are the only games the original studio SingleTrac developed before handing the reigns over after a dispute with Sony. These titles have arrived in time for the Twisted Metal TV series starring Anthony Mackie which releases on Thursday, July 27.
