PS Plus titles are revealed and released on the same schedule each month, here's when we'll find out what titles will be arriving in the July 2023 Essential tier.
PS Plus subscribers are in for a treat this month with a solid PS Plus June 2023 lineup, featuring the likes of NBA 2K23, Far Cry 6, and Inscryption on PS4 and PS5. Players will have until Tuesday, July 4 to download Jurassic World Evolution 2, Trek to Yomi and the aforementioned NBA 2K23, but when will we be finding out what PlayStation titles are replacing them in the PS Plus July 2023 Essential games?
Turns out you won't have to wait long to find out, as the PS Plus Essential July 2023 free games are set to be revealed next week!
When are the PS Plus July 2023 Essential games revealed?
The PS Plus July 2023 Essential games will be revealed on Wednesday, June 28 at around 4.30pm BST / 11.30pm EDT, and 8:30am PDT. PS Plus Essential titles are typically revealed on the final Wednesday of the month (or the first Wednesday of a month if it starts on the first).
What games will be in the PS Plus July 2023 Essential games lineup?
Sadly, we won't know for sure until the Sony gives the official word on Wednesday, June 28.
The games in the PS Plus July 2022 lineup were Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon. Now typically the past years lineup doesn't mean anything specific such as 'we could get a new Dark Pictures game in there', but its a good thing to look at for speculation purposes.
Crash Bandicoot 4 was the biggest title out of those three and released in October 2020, so I'll look at some titles released in October 2021 (again, don't take this as gospel). Some of the biggest titles released that month include Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, Riders Republic, Alan Wake Remastered and My Friend Peppa Pig. While any one of these would be exciting, Alan Wake Remastered would make sense considering Alan Wake 2 is out later this year.
Again, those are just some guesses, we won't know for sure until next week, but hopefully I get at least one of them right.
