PS Plus subscribers on PS5 have one last chance to redeem the 20 games included in the PS Plus Collection, as the service is being removed today.
The PS Plus Collection ending takes away a special treat for early PS5 adopters to experience some of the PS4's greatest titles at the cost of a PS Plus subscription. Despite never being labelled as a timed-promotion, Sony made the shock announcement of the PS Plus Collection ending back in February. The collection was made up of 20 essential PS4 titles, like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and God Of War, before dropping to 19 when Persona 5 left the service early in March 2022. However, some players have noticed Persona 5 returning to the PS Plus Collection this week before the games are axed from the service.
Because the PS Plus Collection is exclusive to subscribers on PS5, you'll need to redeem these titles on the PS5 console itself, as they aren't available to redeem on the PlayStation Store website or on the PS4 (although if you redeem these titles on a PS5, you'll be able to download and play them on PS4 without bother). The good news is once these titles are downloaded, you get to keep and play them as long as you're subscribed to PS Plus, so redeem them now, even if you have no intention of playing them.
Sony hasn't announced a specific time for the PS Plus Collection ending, so your best bet is to get on your PS5 and redeem them the second you see this, or risk missing out on 20 essential titles. You only need the PS Plus Essential subscription, so don't worry about forking out the extra cash for PS Plus Extra or Premium.
PS Plus Collection titles being removed
Here's the full list of titles that won't be available via the PS Plus collection when it's removed today:
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Battlefield 1
- Bloodborne
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Days Gone
- Detroit: Become Human
- Fallout 4
- Final Fantasy 15
- God Of War
- Infamous: Second Son
- Monster Hunter: World
- Mortal Kombat X
- Ratchet & Clank
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- The Last Guardian
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

- Persona 5 (Removed in March 2022, may not be available in your region. Some players have reported it returning to the collection)
Again, you get to keep them as long as you're subscribed to PS Plus, so redeem them while you still can. Some of the greatest games of all time like Persona 5, Monster Hunter World and Bloodborne are included, so you'll regret it if you miss out on those.
