PS Plus Collection disappears forever next week – grab these 19 titles while you can

The 19 games available to PS5 owners with a PS Plus subscription will soon disappear forever, so be sure to claim them while you still can.

They say that the best things in life are free, and PS Plus subscribers who picked up a PS5 at launch found that out early on by being gifted 20 games to immediately download. Sure, Persona 5 may have disappeared from the PS Plus Collection a while ago, but the remaining 19 titles up until now have remained a great way to immediately get started on Sony’s console by gifting current-gen console owners with some of the platform’s best PS4 games.

Unfortunately, it was announced back in February that the PS Plus Collection would be axed later this year. Well, it’s been nearly three months, and the deadline of Tuesday, May 9, is fast approaching. “On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered,” Sony said, before reiterating that PS Plus will continue offering titles across all three available tiers via the monthly Essential games lineup and rotating games catalogue.

That’s why we wanted to offer players on PS5 a quick reminder to log onto your console, scroll to the PS Plus tab and add all 19 of the titles available in the PS Plus Collection to your library (if you haven’t already, of course). It doesn’t matter if you plan on playing them any time in the near future either, because you’ll retain access to them for as long as you stay subscribed to PS Plus.

Highlights of the PS Plus Collection include a string of first-party AAA hits such as 2018’s God of War reboot, teen horror homage Until Dawn and open-world zombie adventure Days Gone. As if that wasn’t enough, the PS Plus Collection is notable for showing third-party titles some love, too, with the likes of Batman: Arkham Knight, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition also included. You’d be insane not to add these to your library for no extra charge.

PS Plus Collection – full list of PS4 titles

Here’s the full lust of 19 titles that will disappear along with the PS Plus Collection.

  • Batman Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Bloodborne
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops — Zombies Chronicles Edition
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Fallout 4
  • Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
  • God of War
  • Infamous Second Son
  • Monster Hunter: World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
  • Ratchet and Clank
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us: Remastered
  • Until Dawn
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Just to reiterate, you have until this Tuesday, May 4, to claim all of the above 19 titles. It doesn’t matter what tier of PS Plus you subscribe to either; as long as you’re a member of the service and own a PS5 then the collection is available to claim for you.

You don't need to download them either. Just add to your library to keep them forever (as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription).
