The PS Plus April Extra and Premium April 2023 games lineup have been officially announced and include a stylish indie hit and the entirety of one of the most iconic gaming franchises ever
PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers now know what games they'll be able to enjoy on Tuesday, April 18. The PS Plus Premium and Extra April 2023 were revealed this week and the lineup includes a barrage of Bethesda titles coming to the service this month. We've got the entire Doom franchise to look forward to – including the award-winning Doom Eternal – and two of the newest Wolfenstein games.
One of the standout titles this month is the stylish detective noir game Paradise Killer, in which you have to explore Paradise Island in search of clues, and interview the various residents of the island to solve a mass murder. What makes Paradise Killer so unique compared to other adventure games, is the ability to call a trial at any point in the story – provided you have sufficient evidence. While the mystery alone is engaging, the star of the show is the engrossing aesthetic and phenomenal city pop soundtrack.
Other games included in the PS Plus Extra and Premium tier include Ubisoft's extreme sports sandbox Riders Republic which – despite positive critical reception – flew under the radar, so it's the perfect chance to give the game a go. The gorgeous indie adventure game Kena: Bridge of Spirits also joins the service next Tuesday. Kena is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda, which makes sense when you realise it was developed by Ember Labs who came to prominence with their The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask fan-film Terrible Fate.
PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can also still pick up the PS Plus Essential April 2023 games Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron too.
