Gwyneth Paltrow has paid a sweet tribute to her daughter Apple on the teen's eighteenth birthday, telling her: "I could not be more proud of the woman you are."
Apple is the Iron Man actress' eldest child with ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
On Instagram, Gwyneth, 49, shared a picture of Apple, who is blonde like her mother, wearing a white dress with a cut-out section in the back, looking into a mirror side-on.
She is in a spacious and stylish room, with white walls and a neon pink sign on one wall.
A coffee table neatly covered with books and a vase of flowers, plus a comfy sofa, also can be seen.
In the post, shared to her 8m followers, Gwyneth wrote: "18. I’m a bit of a loss for words this morning," followed by a crying face emoji.
"I could not be more proud of the woman you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more.
"Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put in to words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way.
"Happy birthday my darling girl. I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you have brought to all who are lucky enough to know you. Especially me.
"I say it all the time and I will never stop… in the words of auntie Drew, I was born the day you were born. I love you."
The Emma star finished the touching messaged with a love heart emoji, and signed off "Mama".
The Oscar-winner also shares teenage son Moses with Chris, 44, who she split up with in 2016.
In 2018 the Goop founder married Brad Falchuk, 51, the co-creator of TV series Glee and American Horror Story, among other shows.
Last June, Gwyneth claimed Apple has never watched a single one of her movies.
She told US TV show Shop TODAY with Jill Martin: “My kids have never seen me in a movie.
"I mean, I think my son has seen the Iron Man things, but I don't think my daughter has ever seen me in a movie."

Explaining Apple’s hesitance to watch her work, Gwyneth said: "She says she likes me here, like how she knows [me], and it's weird if I'm onscreen.”
As well as the Iron Man films Gwyneth has appeared as Tony Stark's assistant then partner Pepper Potts in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming- a moment she forgot, until she was reminded by co-star Jon Favreau who pointed it out while they prepared a meal on cooking series The Chef Show.
Jon told her: “You were in Spider-Man” to which Gwyneth shakes her head and says “No.”
Jon insists, saying: “Yeah”, prompting Gwyneth to state confidently: “I was in Avengers.”
Jon then says: “No, you were in Spider-Man also,” causing Gwyneth to exclaim: “What?” with an expression of utter disbelief on her face.
