They say that the act of gift-giving is just as important as the gift. That is not always true, especially if you want to gift a comic book. Your comic book reading friends will greatly appreciate you knowing their favorite characters, genres, and publishers. Ask them. Also, most comic book fans have a religious-like devotion when it comes to protecting their comic books. That’s why using the best comic book mailers available is so important when shipping or receiving comics.
In 1993, I had a mail-order subscription for the main X-Men comic book title. In X-Men #25 of that year, Magneto infamously used his powers to rip out the adamantium bonded to Wolverine’s skeleton.
