Prospective Juror's Social Media Posts Questioned In Trump Trial

Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attends a "commit to caucus" event, in Ankeny

The judge in a courtroom case is questioning a potential juror who has been challenged by Donald Trump's legal team regarding his social media activity from 2016. The prospective juror, when asked about certain posts, responded, 'I don’t remember. I guess they’re mine.'

The judge proceeded to show the individual pictures from a 2017 rally he had attended, where he had taken photos of signs in the crowd. One of the signs had the caption, 'my sentiments exactly.' The judge then inquired whether the prospective juror agreed with the sentiments expressed on the signs.

During the questioning, Trump's attorney, Susan Necheles, asked the potential juror if he viewed the rally as an 'anti-Trump rally.' In response, the individual stated that he perceived it as a 'women's rights rally.' Necheles pointed out that the term 'anti-Trump rally' had been used in the individual's social media posts.
