A Gloucestershire property investment and development business has added to its growing Bristol office portfolio.
Robert Hitchins Investment Properties, which is headquartered in Boddington, has acquired the grade-II listed number 10 Queen Square in the city centre. The deal, the financial details of which were not disclosed, comes just months after the firm bought up numbers 31-32 at the same site.
The company said its latest purchase, its seventh in Bristol, was already fully occupied and provided tenants with 17,470 sq ft of space over six floors.
Simon Tothill, property and development director at Robert Hitchins, said: “The property is fully let to an impressive array of tenants and offers prime modern office space in Bristol’s historical centre. RHIP worked well with the vendors to complete the acquisition within a tight time frame and we now look forward to working closely with the tenants and to enhancing the building and its facilities.”
Mr Tothill that the business was seeking further opportunities to make further investments in the Bristol, South West and South Wales commercial property markets. Robert Hitches was represented by real estate firm Knight Frank and solicitors Foot Anstey during the deal for number 10 Queen Square.
