House prices in Glasgow are not cheap, whether you are trying to buy or rent.
And with more and more people wanting to move to the city, prices are being driven up.
Location, Location, Location's Kirstie and Phil showed just how much prices in the areas were soaring, with experts revealing prices in the city were much higher than that of the UK's average.

According to recent figures from ESPC, the average property price in Glasgow sold for £212,014.
Whilst this isn't great for those looking to buy, it hasn't stopped people searching for their dream property with stats by Rightmove revealing that on average, there are over 141 million visits to their site every month.
In addition, there are over one million properties for sale and to rent on Rightmove. So with this in mind, we wanted to take a look at what we could rent in the city for the average property price across Scotland.
Glasgow properties you can live in for Scotland's average rent price
According to data from Rightmove for this month, the average rental price across the whole of Scotland stands at £878 per month. So taking a look at their rentals, here's just some properties we found in the area that you can rent for roughly the same price.

If you're looking to move to the east end of the city, the area has a lot to offer. And as it turns out, Dennistoun is a very trendy area, having recently been named as one of the best places to live by the Sunday Times.
