A high powered lawyer has organised a professional boxing match on the roof of a Liverpool hotel.
Sam Hutchinson, partner at an international law firm, has helped organise a professional boxing match on the roof of the city's Shankly Hotel. The city centre event will see Liverpool's Jack McGann fight for the first time in his home town.
Hundreds of people are expected at this Friday's fight including big names from the worlds of boxing, mixed martial arts and showbusiness. Sam's charity the Power of One sponsors St Mary's College old boy Jack McGann, who turned professional in 2018.

Sam has produced and financed Jack's forthcoming fight on the roof of the city's famous Shankly hotel. She said: "Yes its been a challenge organising this kind of city centre event at short notice but it was such an exciting concept that I wanted to deliver. "
The fight will be Jack's first professional boxing match in his home town. Sam said: "For Jack to fight on the roof of a famous Liverpool hotel in front of a local crowd is so exciting and I can't wait."
Sam, who grew up in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester, spoke to the ECHO about how she first met Jack. She said: "My family in Manchester knew Jack's family and they told me that he had launched a boxing career.
"I thought Jack might allow the Power of One to reach a younger demographic and I was interested in sponsoring his career.
"He drove down to my farm in Hertfordshire and we spent hours talking. I have 15 rescue dogs at home but Jack was fine with that. We chatted for hours about animal cruelty and we really clicked."
Sam said that Jack's own values chimed with those of Power of One. She added: "Yes Jack was very sensitive to our mission. We want to highlight awareness around illegal dog fighting and animal cruelty in general.
"Jack will help promote the Power of One on Merseyside and beyond to a younger audience."
Sam has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in the Power of One so far, and has paid for Friday's roof top event at the Shankly.
She said: "We all believe that Jack can go all the way in the sport of boxing. We hope to be with him on his journey to the top."
Lawrence Kenwright, owner of the Shankly, said: "We are going to create an event that's not been seen before."
