Producer’s three Grammys smashed during DHL delivery

• Award-winning producer William Orbit claims that his three Grammy statues have been broken in transit by DHL.
• On Instagram, Orbit – who received the prizes for his work with Madonna – said that they were broken while en route from Venice to London.
• He posted a photo of the pieces in an open DHL package, describing them as a “heap of brass and plastic”.
• In good news, they “seem pretty repairable”, he said: “A bit of solder, or wire, or whatever materials metalwork-shop folk might use to reassemble these tokens of a dream realised.”
• As well as Madonna's Ray of Light, Orbit is known for producing artists like Blur, Britney Spears, and U2.
