An investigation is underway after a car was driven through the gates of Sinn Féin TD Martin Kenny's home.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning at Mr Kenny's home in Leitrim.
Gardai have now launched a probe into the incident, which saw a car narrowly miss the house in Aughavas.

Mr Kenny told the Leitrim Observer that the incident was "distressing and traumatic" for his wife and family.
"I would like to thank the gardaí and ambulance services, who arrived quickly on the scene to deal with the incident and the driver of the vehicle," the Sligo-Leitrim TD added.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred in Aughavas, Co. Leitrim at approximately 2am this morning, Thursday 29th September 2022. A man in his 40s was taken to Cavan General Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Investigations are ongoing."
