Priyanka Chopra's journey to the top was anything but a smooth ride, but according to a wild conspiracy, her success is the work of supernatural and satanic powers.
In a podcast, the actress reacted to a conspiracy theory that stated she made deals with the devil to achieve her levels of success. "You're a Satanic worshipper," Ranveer Allahbadia said while sharing a theory he came across.
Laughing off the rumours, PeeCee shut down the claim, saying, "Horrible!" She went on to quip, "Shiv ji will be very upset with me."
However, the actress did reveal the reason behind her success. During the chat, she said that her Miss World title helped her a great deal in launching her film career. "I didn't understand the opportunity it gave me. Suddenly, people knew me and wanted to know me. Movies were coming my way, I didn’t know anything about how do you sign a movie," she said.
The actress also gave due credit to her parents for putting her ambitions before theirs. She said that her mom and dad gave up their 'thriving' practices to support her dreams, something that she said, not many had the same privilege.
