Private Scots island which inspired 'Peter Pan' to feature in new TV show

Peter Pan Channel 4 United Kingdom

A private Scottish island which inspired JM Barrie's Peter Pan and is owned by Richard Branson's sister will feature in a new TV show.

Eilean Shona, Inner Hebrides, will star in the Channel 4 series Extraordinary Escapes, which features the UK's most upmarket and unusual holiday homes.

JM Barrie rented the tidal island in Loch Moidart for a summer in the 1920s and actress Kate Winslet celebrated her 40th birthday there.
