Private school run driving 27% increase in air pollution in south London, campaigners say

Cars shuttling children to private schools in South London are contributing to a massive spike in air pollution, campaigners have warned.

Research conducted around the Herne Hill area by an organisation called Solve the School Run suggests there was a 27 per cent rise in air pollution when private schools were open in the area.
