A jailed robber who escaped police custody twice in one week has been arrested in France after being smuggled out of the UK in a lorry.
Drill rapper Daniel Boakye taunted authorities while on the run, posting videos on social media as police launched a manhunt across London.
The 21-year-old, who goes by the stage name DSAVV, uploaded a video to Instagram in which he rapped the line, “Catch me if you can”.
The clip showed him smoking and dancing in front of what appeared to be a screen displaying a BBC article about his escape from custody.
He had escaped from prison guards at West Middlesex University Hospital on February 10 and was recaptured by Metropolitan Police officers the following day before going on the run again on February 15.

Police have now confirmed Boakye has been detained in France, following a joint operation by Met Police, the National Crime Agency and French law enforcement.
Boakye was arrested in La Bouëxière, France, at around 8.20pm on Monday, March 2, on suspicion of escaping lawful custody
It is believed Boakye was smuggled out of the country in a lorry after he absconded while in police custody.
Arrangements are now underway to return him to custody in the UK.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify those who may have assisted Boakye to evade capture.

The wanted criminal could be seen in one of his videos sitting in the back of a car and holding an inflated balloon, boasting: "Done it twice now they think I'm insane."
One person commented on the music video to say: "The lyrics alone you need to be arrested."
Boakye was jailed for six years and five months in 2023 for being part of a robbery gang that held victims at knifepoint to get their phone passcodes in order to steal a total of £115,000 of cryptocurrency, as well as using bank details to pay for taxis and top-up cards.
