A Fatal Accident Inquiry is to be held after a prisoner died at HMP Low Moss.
John McMillan, 41, passed away at the prison in the Bishopbriggs area on Monday, August 8.
He had previously been remanded at Paisley Sheriff Court in 2022.

The Scottish Prison Service has advised Police Scotland about the death and the matter has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A statement from the Scottish Prison Service said: "John McMillan, 41, a prisoner from HMP Low Moss has died on 08 August 2022. He was remanded at Paisley Sheriff Court in 2022.
"Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
